So MUCH to catch up on...

OK- not sure where to start! The last time I sat down to blog we were packing for HAWAII...I must share pictures and stories from our amazing vacation. Next, I must update to say... WE ARE ADDING ON! in more ways than ONE... we are adding a BABY GIRL to our family this fall and we are adding on to our HOME!! sooooo.... needless to say I have been ONE busy MOM!! The good news is- I am not teaching this coming school year.. going to have some precious time at HOME and enjoy this BUSY time!! I will back track and add pictures to go along with all of these EXCITING events as soon as I get a second to sit down... Hudson is one ACTIVE little 20 month old :)

We're packing... everything but the kitchen sink! It takes a lot of "things" when you are traveling 12 hrs on a plane with a toddler!

New Orleans - AGC

well.... our trip to New Orleans was FUN.. too much fun! We had a great time.. getting all dressed up..dinner dates..convention parties.. Fun times and beautiful weather!! It was a fantastic time... It's always nice to get away... but WONDERFUL to get home and snuggle with Hudson!

While in New Orleans we stayed at the Riverside Hilton.. We shopped a little at the Riverwalk... Ate dinner at the Bourbon Street Grill...FANTASTIC gumbo and shrimp!! Drinks at Pat O'Brians... An hour full body massage at the spa... cocktails at the Hilton.. AGC dinner and reception... brunch on Sunday at the "Court of two Sisters" which was delicious food that included a JAZZ band...

NOLA

NOLA- HERE WE COME!!

Jeff and I are traveling to New Orleans today for the Annual AGC convention. This year it happens to be in NOLA.. and we're looking forward to a FUN Adventure!!

It's been about 2 years since I have been to NEW ORLEANS... however Jeff goes a lot.. almost every month for work!! Even though he goes for work... this trip will be FUN for us both!! 

Jeff drove down this morning & I am catching a flight this afternoon.

My bags are packed... Plans for Hudson have been made.. I am ready for a getaway with Jeff..

Oxford, MS

On Friday afternoon Jeff, Hudson, & I packed up and headed down south to Oxford, Mississippi. It's always such a nice retreat away from Home! We three ate dinner on our way down...then nestled in at the cabin once we arrived. Hudson was not feeling well...so we went to bed rather early. Saturday morning was the "Race for the Cure" 5k and half marathon in Oxford. It was a cold day for a run....kinda windy. After the race... Jeff did a few chores around the cabin...we went out for lunch...then packed up to head home! We had dinner club plans that evening with The Newsom's. It was a FUN short retreat... it's always so relaxing! Next trip...I hope for SUNSHINE and warm weather so Hudson can enjoy playing outside!

Already planning our next trip to Oxford!

Double-Decker weekend is coming up...

it's the last weekend in April. 

That would be a great weekend to invite friends!!

TWO WEEKS until paradise... we. cannot. wait! This trip is going to be AWESOME! we have some pretty amazing things planned! once again... I. CANNOT. WAIT to be in HAWAII

WOW! we've been spoiled the last couple of days with the NICE, WARM, WEATHER!! I could get use to this... even though I know Spring is not right around the corner..I'm almost certain we will have another round of COLD weather... but for now! 

We are taking FULL advantage of the sunshine... playing outside... LOVING LIFE!
